Does LISBridge support both VIDAS and MiniVIDAS?

Yes. Both use the same bioMérieux ASTM protocol. LISBridge auto-detects which model is connected and applies the correct parser.

How are VIDAS qualitative results (Positive/Negative/Equivocal) handled?

LISBridge passes through the qualitative result status and index value exactly as reported by the VIDAS instrument. Both the numerical index and the interpretation are forwarded to the HIS.

What tests does LISBridge extract from the VIDAS?

All VIDAS assay codes are extracted — HBsAg, anti-HCV, HIV Ag/Ab, toxoplasma, rubella, CMV IgM/IgG, anti-HBs, TSH, fT4, troponin I, BNP, procalcitonin, and others configured on your instrument.

Does the VIDAS use standard RS-232 baud rates?

Yes. The VIDAS communicates at 9600 baud over RS-232. LISBridge auto-configures from the instrument profile.
