Each instrument panel gives you everything you need to see at a glance — no drilling into menus.
Every instrument shows its current state — Connected, Disconnected, or Error — updated in real time. When a cable is unplugged or a network address changes, the status flips immediately. No polling delay, no guessing.
WBC, RBC, and PLT values are plotted on a live time-series chart as each run completes. You can spot drift, outliers, and QC failures visually — before they become a problem.
Each instrument panel shows how long it has been continuously connected in this session. Helps you track reliability over time and identify instruments that drop connection more than they should.
Results appear in the panel the moment they arrive from the instrument — patient ID, test codes, values, units, flags. No need to go looking for them. The stream scrolls automatically and is fully searchable.
Multi-device labs get a single registry of every LISBridge installation on the network — which devices are online, which instruments each one serves, and connection restoration handled centrally. One view of the whole fleet, not a walk around the building.
Device-level metrics show how your instruments are actually used — result volumes per instrument and per day, connection reliability, and throughput trends. The numbers that tell you which analyzer is overloaded and which one is idle.
Connection status indicators
Connected
Instrument is active and receiving data
Disconnected
No signal — cable unplugged or port closed
Error
Parse failure or unexpected instrument output
Reconnecting
Auto-reconnect in progress
Each instrument you connect gets its own dedicated panel. Here's what it shows.
Illustrative — actual values update live as results arrive from the instrument
Analyzers send control runs, calibration runs and worklist questions down the same connection as patient results. LISBridge tells them apart before anything is stored.
Every message is classified on arrival
Result
A patient result. Parsed, stored, and delivered to your LIS as normal.
QC
A control run. Diverted out of the patient pipeline into the Quality Control page.
Calibration
A calibration run. Tracked separately with its own tab and counts.
Query
The analyzer asking what to run. Answered on the transport it arrived on.
Every incoming message is classified before it is stored. QC and calibration runs are diverted out of the patient result pipeline automatically — so a control never lands in your LIS as a patient result, and never inflates your result counts.
QC and calibration runs get their own page, with the control name, lot, level and expiry carried through from the analyzer message, and the individual measurements from each run listed underneath. Filter by analyzer, by control, or by kind.
When an analyzer asks what tests to run for a sample, LISBridge answers on whatever transport the query arrived on — and in the same protocol dialect it was asked in. If there is no pending order, it sends an explicit no-order reply instead of leaving the analyzer waiting.
Every query the analyzer sent and every answer LISBridge returned is recorded and searchable on the Data page. When an analyzer claims it never received an order, you can check rather than speculate.
Classification happens before storage, not after
A QC run that reaches your LIS as a patient result is a problem you have to clean up afterwards. Because LISBridge classifies each message as it arrives, control material is separated at the point of ingest — and the raw instrument frame is retained either way, so you can always check what the analyzer actually sent.
Problems you can see get fixed. Problems you can't see reach patients.
A disconnected instrument you don't notice is a delay in results — and in a clinical lab, that has consequences. The live status panel makes any connection issue impossible to miss.
When WBC or RBC values start trending in the wrong direction, the time-series chart shows it immediately. React to calibration drift before it invalidates a run.
LISBridge reconnects automatically when an instrument drops. The dashboard shows you the exact moment the connection was lost and when it was restored — no ambiguity.
Run multiple instruments simultaneously and monitor them all from a single dashboard. Each instrument gets its own panel — no switching between apps or tabs.
Results are stored locally with configurable retention (default 30 days, can be set to keep forever). You can always go back and review exactly what was received and when.
The monitoring dashboard runs entirely on your machine. No data leaves your network. No cloud subscription needed to see your own instruments' status.
All data stays on your machine
The monitoring dashboard is part of the LISBridge desktop app. Result history, charts, and logs are stored in your local database — encrypted, private, and accessible whether or not you have an internet connection.
Download LISBridge and connect your first instrument in under 30 minutes. The monitoring dashboard is ready the moment you connect. 7-day free trial — no credit card.
