No — and that is a core promise. Most middleware vendors charge a setup or licence fee for each new instrument model. LISBridge is flat-rate. Your plan covers every supported instrument. You only configure how many simultaneous connections you need.

What exactly counts as a 'device'?

A device is the computer running LISBridge. Each device gets its own licence key, validated locally. Most labs run one device per department. Your plan minimum includes 1–5 devices depending on tier, with additional devices available at a small per-device rate.

What is an 'instrument' in the plan?

An instrument is a simultaneous active connection to a lab analyser. Each instrument runs its own connection thread inside LISBridge. Your plan minimum includes 2–15 instruments depending on tier; you can add more at a per-instrument rate.

Is there a discount for longer billing periods?

Yes. Select 12 months to save 5%, 24 months to save 12%, or 36 months to save 20%. Discounts apply automatically on the checkout page — no coupon code needed.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Nothing changes for your lab. LISBridge stores an encrypted licence on the device and caches validation for 24 hours. Your instruments keep sending data, LISBridge keeps parsing, WASM updates sync silently when you are back online.

Can I cancel or change my plan?

Yes to both. Upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard at any time — changes take effect at the next billing period. You can also cancel before renewal; no lock-in, no cancellation fee.
