What protocol does the Laura XL use?

The Laura XL uses ASTM E1394 over RS-232. LISBridge includes an Erba-specific parser with Laura XL enhancements as of parser version 0.3.9.

Does LISBridge support reticulocyte parameters from the Laura XL?

Yes. The Laura XL parser extracts reticulocyte parameters (RET%, RET#, IRF) when the instrument is configured to report them.

What haematology parameters does the Laura XL report?

The Laura XL reports a full 5-part CBC: WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, PLT, PDW, MPV, and differential with absolute and percentage counts. Reticulocytes available when enabled.
